Cleveland Browns tickets

Cleveland Browns tickets

Tradition is such an important part of the Browns, so it's important to note that ever since they were born in 1946, they have played on the same site on the shores of Lake Erie. From 1946-95, their home was Cleveland Municipal Stadium. On that same footprint is Cleveland Browns Stadium, which was opened in 1999. To keep the Cleveland Browns history and that tradition going, the playing field at Cleveland Browns Stadium runs east to west, just like it did before, and the Dawg Pound can still be found on the east side of the stadium.

Tickets to the Cleveland Browns games are hot items to have this year and Cleveland Browns ticket prices can be viewed at the Cleveland Browns box office. Latest Cleveland Browns news shares that Jamal Lewis has rushed for 7,801 yards in his career, scored 47 touchdowns, rushed for more than 2,000 yards in a season, owns the NFL's single-game rushing record, has been elected to the Pro Bowl, and played for a Super Bowl championship team. The addition of Lewis to the Cleveland Browns roster should continue to spark Cleveland Browns ticket sales.

Cleveland Browns rumors often times revolve around Cleveland Browns roster changes, trades, or upcoming draft picks. Latest Cleveland Browns news and the Cleveland Browns 2007 schedule can be researched at the Cleveland Browns.com webpage.

Cleveland Browns Nickname:

When owner Arthur McBride brought an AAFC team to Cleveland in 1945, he held a newspaper contest to name the team and offered a $1,000 war bond to the winner. Most of the entries submitted wanted the name Browns, because the extremely popular Paul Brown was the team's head coach. Browns was selected.

Cleveland Browns logo:
The Browns do not have a decal or offical emblem to represent their team. Instead their orange helmet with a Brown and White stripe in the middle is used to represent the team.
