Al Lang Stadium seating chart and tickets
Florida Power Park Seating ChartAl Lang Stadium Map and Satellite ImageAl Lang Stadium DetailsAl Lang Field is also the most historical ballpark in the Grapefruit League, as the site has been used as a spring-training venue since 1916, when the Philadelphia Nationals first trained here from 1916-1921. Other teams calling Al Lang Field spring-training home include the Boston Braves (1922-1924), the New York Yankees (1925-1937), and the St. Louis Cardinals (1938-1997). The Al Lang moniker dates from the Cardinals years -- 1947, to be exact -- and comes from the original Al Lang, St. Petersburg's local "father of baseball." When the Cardinals left, the Devil Rays became the first MLB team to train in its home town since the 1919 St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Athletics. |
