New Orleans Saints tickets

American football is not only the most popular sport in America but is also hugely popular across the globe. With a loyal fan base and many of the affluent players in the world, Football's past can be delineated back to the early 20th century when various leagues cropped up in assorted areas throughout the states.

Today the National Football League, or NFL, is one of the best-known sports leagues in the universe and, depending on where you live in the states, if you are a fan of football you generally have definite and distinct allegiance to the particular team that either plays football in your city or a neighboring one.

If you live in New Orleans you are very likely a Saints fan. Saints fans are, to put it gently, especially appreciative of their team and have no problem making their opinion known about how great it is and how superior the New Orleans Saints roster is. They say that if you're an New Orleans Saints fan you bleed Saints colors and I would not dare test this theory on any dyed in the wool Saints enthusiast at game time.

There are thirty-two teams across the United States that play in the NFL and your alliances definitely are formed based on either where you grew up or where you were born. This actually makes for interesting and exciting games because, since Americans tend to move quite frequently, you can often find many fans of one city's team residing in a completely different area but still rooting for "their" team when they are in town to play the local team.

Some states, and indeed some cities, have multiple NFL teams that represents them. Normally you will find one of these teams representing the NFC, or National Football Conference, while the other represents the Atlantic Football Conference, or AFC.

New Orleans Saints myspace layouts are very catchy and eye-appealing. Except for minor modifications, the Saints' logo and uniforms have basically remained the same since the club debuted in 1967. The New Orleans Saints logo is a fleur-de-lis, while its uniform design consists of gold helmets, gold pants, and either black or white jerseys. Minor changes to the uniform stripes and trim have been made throughout the years.

The Louisiana State House of Representatives and Senate today recognized the Saintsations for a recent 12-day goodwill trip the cheerleaders made to the Middle East, which included forays into Baghdad and other US Military bases in Iraq and Kuwait. The Saintsations were honored by the state's legislative branch with certificates of appreciation on the Senate floor in an afternoon ceremony.

Tori Nunez, who will be entering her fifth season as a Saintsation in 2007 and eight other Saintsations, recently concluded the trip that took the dynamic cheerleading squad into the heart of US Military bases in Iraq.
"It was as an incredible experience, to say the least," said the Chalmette native and a current coordinator for American All-Stars, based on the north shore. "It was an honor to represent the Saints, the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana."
